Band Fees

Band fees are necessary to provide the funding for many items for the students and band program.  The Band Fees only provide a third of the budgeted amount needed for each student.  The remaining budget comes from donations and fundraisers throughout the year. 

The Band Parent Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group.  Therefore, donations are tax deductible.  There are some opinions that Band Fees are also deductible, but each family should consult with their tax advisor to clarify their own situation. 

Note that any monies owed for band fees must be paid before monies will be applied to any trips or other non-band expenditures.

Paying with PayPal

The Madison Consolidated High School Marching Cubs Band Boosters now offers PayPal as another way to pay your student's band fees. The booster club is a PayPal verified organization.

To pay with PayPal:

1. Click the button on this page to take you to our PayPal page.
2. Enter the amount of the payment .You will be responsible for the processing fee, which is 3%. The 3% will be listed under shipping and handling. The extra 3% covers the fees charged by Pay Pal for using their services.  For example, if you enter $100, a total of $103 will be charged to you credit card.
3. Click 'Update Totals' to save what you entered. Be sure and note on the page the students name we are to apply the band fees to.  An e-mail will be sent by PayPal notifying us that you have sent payment
4. If you have a PayPal account, login and continue the transaction with your saved information. You do not have to set up an account to send a payment.
5. If you do not want a PayPal account, click 'Continue' under 'Don't have a PayPal account?' to enter your payment information.
6. An email confirmation will be sent to the webmaster, the treasurer and the account coordinator of the Band Parent Association, as well as yourself.  Your credit card statement and that email will be your receipt.

with Check

As in the past, band members can pay with a check.  This method is the lowest cost to the family, as there are no extra charges that we have with PayPal.  The check may be given to the Band Director, Treasurer or the President of the Association.
